Seems like eons ago when I started hacking Zelda 2 after being inspired by Ice Penguin's "Journey of a Day" Unfortunately, after almost 15 years THC remains a WIP. Perhaps someday I'll finish it, but until then I wanted to share a little of what I managed to accomplish. First being the Warrior Princess herself, Zelda. My intention was to capture as much of her original Zelda 2 sprite as possible, while having her mimic Link's appearance and animations as closely as I could while still making her distinct. I must say I think I did fairly well in that regard, and these sprites are compatible with any Zelda 2 ROM. |

It's also better than nothing. Despite the changed title (whoever renamed it), these are not all animated frames for Nobilia. Pool water and fountain are in fact faulty, since the fountain has a palette change and animated frames which play independently. Also not sure what went wrong with the pool water, the animation is just too long and also repeats itself with changing frames. |
