@Fawfulthegreat64 Agreed. The generic design they for spinoffs (and now mainline thanks to Wonder lol) at times is so lame in comparison. It's just a Boo with Peach's crown pasted on top with slight tweaks to not look like a full copy of someone's homework.

Probably the worst thing about this game is that unlike its contemporaries, which tended to rip off Super Mario Bros., this rips off Pac-Land. Pac-Land is so ancient SMB was based off it, and this game brings pretty much nothing new to the table on top of that. It's just tedious and was out-of-date even upon release.

@Abc Inconsistencies with how NES displays the same color. What looks orange on one screen looks pink on another. It's why NEStopia and MESEN are generally seen as the preferred emulators color-wise, since most sets would display closest to them (and why FCEUX's color palette is... rather bad).

I still think it's a funny troll sprite and if the whingy babies are gonna add repetitive comments over how they're traumatized by what is extremely tame compared to some of the shenanigans the characters are depicted in online, then that's a "them" issue.

A majority, if not all of the contributors, came from the same place, 13-14 years ago. And this was made back in an era when sprite comics were abundant, it was pretty much a go-to "pose" during sprite sheet development, irrespective of cultural norms from about the globe.

I get that those poses are making people's sphincters tighten at the sight of them, I'm not particularly fond of them either, but the negative reaction A) is getting redundant since it pretty much amounts to the same thing being said each new comment it's remarked in, and B) is pretty much going to fall on deaf ears, of the list of contributors it's effectively been unanimously disavowed or otherwise walked away from*, it's just now in a state of preservation from a library that no longer exists.

* From what I've seen.
