Pretty obviously done cuz animating him as water in sprite form would've been a bit too much work, but I don't mind this compromise. Quite a unique interpretation, especially with his eyes! I love they decided to make him emotive in this than he was portrayed prior. Chaos squinting gives me life. |

Either he'd laugh each time he hit someone, or when he'd kill them. Another option I'll propose is it being a special attack he could perform when pressing R. When you play as him, all of his specials just make him say a line. So perhaps this laugh anim was meant to play alongside him talking. Having a laugh button would've been more interesting ngl, if not for players, for the opponent Eggman in story mode to do. |

While the older version was endearingly simple, I always felt it was too cramped and the added update by Quad made the sheet feel a bit disjointed. And its age was starting to show given the rest of the character sheets on here being of higher quality and simply better organized. So I decided to finally give it that much needed update, using my own style for equally needed consistency. I also just... wanted to give the sprites their original bounding boxes, (something I hope gets addressed with the other sheets some day). While not my first time, it is so publicly to label stuff on my sheets. I wanted to keep consistency with the rest of the character sheets on here, which also have labels. Bit of a pain to do so since I gotta use a generator for Star Force's font, but it is nice to have and helps with tidying up everything. I decided to do Eggman specifically just because he'd be quite easy to update given the low amount of sprites to worry about. Now Emerl on the other hand will be a lot trickier... |
