Oct 23, 2024 8:02 PM | MollyChan | Asset: Secret Character VS Portraits (Vampire Savior) | A thing I did a while ago, custom/edited VS portraits for the Vampire Savior / Darkstalkers 3 secret characters who actually lack portraits for themselves. Normally in-game, Shadow and Marionette use no portrait on the character select and the portrait of the character they're possessing/copying on the VS screen, while the Lilith with Morrigan's colours is exclusive to the PS1 port and can only be played as when one enables the "shortcut" option that uses a text-only character select screen and totally REMOVES the VS screen (in order to reduce the number of load times between matches). |

Chris Huelsback did do work for Kaiko but they were otherwise an unrelated team. They were working on the shmup Apidya and needed to churn out something quick to keep the company from imploding, so they made this and then Metal Law before releasing the game they actually wanted to make. |
