@Boomerwrong This game came out in 1985 (with the prequel "Wanted: Monty Mole" coming out the previous year) and Monty Mole from Mario didn't appear until 1990's Super Mario World.

Although the names are probably an astronomical coincidence, I do wonder if Monty's original creators would get a cease and desist from Nintendo if they ever tried to create a new project.
