It also had a reduced number of stages from the full release. In the tradition of many of these old off-the-wall Mac games of the time, the full version came with handy dev tools that let you edit the game. In this case, the stats of the fighters. The game is so obscure now that, AFAIK, the only video of gameplay on the internet is a video I uploaded myself. It's such an interesting oddity that its obscurity saddens me. Then again, the gameplay is pretty terrible. Back in the day, a friend learned how to cheap the AI and beat 100 consecutive matches. |

I spent a lot of time as a kid walking around the space station being blown away by the interactivity of everything. I tried but failed to rip the enemies, HUD elements, items and background frames and such. I may come back around to try again, but if anybody beats me to the punch I'll only be pleased. |
