| Dec 26, 2017 5:58 PM | Ploaj | Game: Fire Emblem: Fates | The alpha channels in the map sprites are actually used for stuff other than transparency. I separated them here. For the bodies, the brighter the shade of grey, the closer it is to the front. It is used for overlaying parts of the bodies onto the head. So for example the main body is drawn first, then the head, then whatever the brighter shade is indicating (usually weapons). For heads it probably is just used to indicate the hair. |
