I'd assume it would still work if you installed a browser add-on that added back the functionality since annotation data is still in the videos, but I don't know if the videos themselves still exist. |

| Jul 5, 2026 5:17 PM | EvilJulia | Game: Deltarune | prompt_suggestion Just to throw in my own two cents because I like the way all of this was organized: Enemies in the Deltarune page are considered characters you can either directly fight within the chapter (battle encounters) or characters that attack your soul during the chapter (overworld encounters). Enemy encounters are prioritized over overworld encounters. To give a couple examples: Sheary is introduced as an overworld encounter in Chapter 1, but they are properly fought in Chapter 5. The Starwalker Birds and Wobbly Things have overworld encounters in Chapter 1 but aren't ever fought after that. Pippins briefly appear at the end of Chapter 1 and have unused battle data for the chapter but they aren't properly fought until Chapter 3. Berdly and Rouxls Kaard are NPCs in Chapter 1. They don't battle you and they don't attack you in the overworld. They only start battling you starting from Chapter 2. They're Chapter 1 NPCs which become Chapter 2 enemies. Basically the character's intent has nothing to do with how they're categorized. It's all about how they're presented in gameplay. Otherwise we could border on weird technicalities like "Jigsawrys don't actually want to fight you so they shouldn't be considered enemies" or "Carol is mean and stops Susie from keeping the guitar so she's an enemy". As for the Starwalker thing, the joke for the Original Starwalker is directly tied to the Starwalker Birds it comments on. If they had to be separated, that would just bloat the sprite sheet count. I totally get disagreeing with the way it's handled but honestly I think the way it is works pretty fine as it is and makes grouping certain groups of characters easier |
