With Wall-E I recommend he'd be simplified a little just to he doesn't look so busy, but retains his recognizable look, using more white and blacks helps too to get that 'megaman' feel. Here's a quick version I tried just to show an example. ![]() |

One reason why I chose the enemy style was because they are larger, more varied and more detailed than Rock and the friendly NPCs, which allows him to stand out more compared to an Eddie scale one (for instance). He is a heavy edit of the Picket Man Bull from MM3. |

And I stupidly thought their shading didn't look bad (probably because the other sprites were so well done and didn't look rushed [no pun intended]). If I'm correct, this is how he would've looked had they been able to finish him in time, albeit without all the extra (playable) sprites because it's not MM9/10. |

I just couldn't figure out what other style I wanted to use. It may not be the best style to depict WALL·E in because of proportions (and the game's concept), but you worked out a good palette for the NES version. The eyes could've been a bit smaller and flatter to be more accurate, and the SNES one should've had the frame light grey like the hands. Besides those, I was excited to see I've apparently inspired someone else to add a new one. Keep it up. |
