Nov 14, 2020 2:36 AM SmithyGCN Asset: Toll Knight This is the Red Kuros or Toll Knight seen at the end of most levels of Wizards & Warriors. I differentiated him from Kuros by making him wear similar, but be a shadow of some kind to show he was an evil copy that isn't perfect. He only has a text balloon and an idle animation, so this sheet is unfinished. He would have had an attack animation to knock you back if you got close and a number counter to go with his balloon. The text balloon would only appear when he knocked you back, meaning you would have had to take slight damage just to find out what it was that he needed from you to proceed.

Nov 14, 2020 2:32 AM SmithyGCN Asset: Spook Spook was one of three minions of Meidou in my old fan game. His animations are just sprouting and laughing. He would randomly sprout up from the ground and knock you skyward, laugh, before retreating back into the ground.

Body, Body Blink, Body Shine, Tentacles Idle, Spin (to summon sprite crystals), Cracks, Eyeball, Sprite Crystals, Sprite Crystals Idle, Ray, Ray Particles, Blast Ring (A space was added in as this is a 2D perspective compared to the attack in a 3d perspective, so it would be easier to avoid), Fireball, Laser Fire Trail, Crystal Shards, Jewel Shards, Better Laser Fire Trail, Death Effect 1, Death Effect 2 (there is an example in the sheet of how this is supposed to look).

Body, Body Shine, Body Cracking frames (the more damage he got the more cracked he became), Eye, Sprite Crystals Shine, Sprite Crystal Idle, Ray, Ray Particles, Ray Base Ring, Fireball, Fire Trail, Crystal Shards, Tentacle Pieces, Body Pieces.

Appearing 1, Appearing 2, Idle to Casting, Dhaos Corridor 1, Dhaos Corridor 2, Orbs, the parts to the beam, but the parts from left to right are the base ring, ray shine, particles, ray pieces, ripple waves.

Nov 13, 2020 11:20 PM SmithyGCN Asset: Phantron Phantron was meant as a boss from the shooter levels in 2 Souls' Tale when the heroes were piloting arwings to get to the Dark Matter Nexus which was the final area of the game. The animations are: front idle, turn, after image, bullet, bomb. He functioned as he did in the original Star Fox.

The animations are: idle, talk, turn, walk, shrug (she would do this after talking to her as an npc), talking while shrugging, angry, pulls out gatling gun, firing, talking with gun, leaning while talking, falling from ledge, landing, wounded, get up, defeated, using PSI, PSI after image falling, PSI after image using PSI. The miscellaneous sprites to the side are: close up of gatling gun, bullet, Krystal's head, gatling gun, Beta Krystal, PSI Shield, PSI Bolt.
Nov 13, 2020 11:11 PM SmithyGCN Asset: Fox Fox was meant to be a sometimes playable character in my old fan game 2 Souls' Tale where he'd fill in for the male playable character when the story called for it. One such area of the game came about when the hero got turned to stone by Medusa in the Castlevania world and Fox had to find an antidote by tracking Medusa down before the petrification was permanent. The animations are: idle (this one was hard to decide how it was going to look), talk, crouch, dash, stopping from dash, dash backward, flying kick, continued flying kick (he'd propel himself forward like this until he hit the ground), getting up from landing, going into a crawl, crawling, firing his pistol, shield, holding shield, breaking shield, multi-fast-kick, jumping, falling from jump, landing, jump roll forward, fall from roll forward, fire fox anticipation, fire fox execution, falling from fire fox, firing pistol in air, kicking in air, walk, hurt, swim forward, falling while swimming, swim idle, defeated, dash after image, dash backward after image, flying kick after image, fir fox after image, fire fox anticipation effect (beta), fire fox anticipation effect (final), pistol laser, pistol kickback effect, fire fox effect, not sure why this cell is blank, shield effect, laser collision, fire fox particle, fire fox smoke, fire fox flame (this appears on the ground where you started from as you blast off into the sky, one was on either side of Fox when he blasts off).
Nov 13, 2020 10:48 PM SmithyGCN Asset: Chandelier (Bowser's Keep) Just Bowser's chandelier from SMRPG. In this iteration, they would hang high above his banquet hall where the minions feasted as you would try to avoid alerting them to your presence. However, if you stayed too long on one, the chain chomp holding it would grow tired and drop it, sending you into a massive fight for which there is little hope for survival. The first five sprites here are self-explanatory, but the last four are shards from the chandelier when it crash lands.

Animations are: idle, sliding across the ground (I didn't give him a proper walk, I figured he'd just bounce on his heels for movement), sleeping, woke (not political; just had to say that XD), turn/front facing, attack with fork, special attack, squashed, fork (would go flying when squashed), laser beam (this is the biggest difference, when he did his special attack, he'd fire a double decker beam like this one)

The animations are: revealing from mushroom disguise, idle/move, go back to mushroom disguise, attack/throw spores, death animation debris, spore.

His pieces in order from top to bottom include: body, upper leg, lower leg, cranium, jaw, ankle cuff, heel, toe (the foot was separated like this to add flexibility), brick pieces for debris when he's hit, sand (this would slide off his body when his pieces rubbed together in his movements), sand storm texture (functions like Dracula's final attack in Castlevania's Portrait of Ruin and Order of Ecclesia).

Nov 13, 2020 10:17 PM SmithyGCN Asset: Amy Rose (Wai Wai World-Style) Wai Wai World 2 style. Modified to have heavier shading. It's to go along with the other 8bit stuff I did. She was supposed to be looking over a railing of a balcony while standing on a crate (because she's short) in Rabanastre City in the Final Fantasy world. She would've asked about Sonic and, if you found him traveling in the background along a mountain ridge, she would go looking for him. The original idea was that if you found all of the Sonic characters (even the SatAM ones) they would have a few cutscenes together more toward the end of the game and maybe even help you with the final boss.
