Also looks like Nintendo forgot about 16-bit and 8-bit having limitations, since they DON'T stick to a pallete.. Not only that but the pallete for the 8-bit games is probably invalid to the NES. And yet, they didn't use the same Bowser sprites. I mean, yeah Bowser is REAL big in the original SMW but would i think using a version of those sprites without the clown car and with a switched pallete would be better for the big Bowser.

Don't know if you care, but female Robin is not in the same order as the rest of them. Her neutral portrait is the fourth one while everyone else has theirs first.

@TheMorningFlas15 Of course they do, they're at a smaller resolution due to a smaller screen size, and have the garish colors needed to be visible on the GBA.

Sprites. If they were Models, that would be a waste of space on the disk because they are only shown in one angle and also don't really need models at all.

@Super Phanto Problem with Paint.net for spriting is that you still have to draw a frame most times for doing things, and the "single pixel" tool on it is just plain awful, so it necessitates a lot of unnecessary steps for relatively small and simple raster graphics that are a non-issue in MS Paint. And changing the colors of a whole sheet in MS Paint is easy, you just change the back swatch the the color you want to change and place the sheet over an area with the color you want, which takes roughly 3 clicks per shade.

Personally, I use Paint.net for my spriting. It's not quite Photoshop, But it sure as hell ain't MS Paint. One thing I like about Paint.net is the ability to change the paint bucket tool's flood mode from "contiguous" to "global" and vise versa. Contiguous is just like MS Paint. Global, however, paints every instance of the color it is used on in the layer you have selected. For example, recoloring the entire Knuckles sprite sheet from Sonic 3 to be blue in Contiguous mode would take forever! However, with Global, you can do the same in just a few clicks.
