Possibly one of the first (if not the first) racing games to have a takedown mechanic. Starting to think the Burnout series just got their ideas from obscure Konami racing games, after all the first game is more or less an unofficial port/ripoff of Thrill Drive. |

@Super Phanto you don't need transparency when doing spriting unless you're working specifically to emulate a high-ish power system. Mybe in texturing, but not so much in spriting. Not to mention it's needlessly hard to flip or scale selections in Paint.net exactly without messing with the whole layer, which adds about 5 extra clicks in and of itself. |

@Doc von Schmeltwick Alternatively, you can select the color you wanna change and right-click with the eraser tool to replace the first color with the eraser/secondary color. I use that a lot and it's extremely useful. |

Even then, you should try to include everything for the sake of anyone that wants to use these sprites so they don't have to go and find the remaining tiles/palettes themselves. |

Thanks, but Levels and art are pretty easy. I spent a few hours on it (with coffee) and ended up finishing what I thought would take up to 2 weeks! I got most of the big mario sprites done already. |

@Ton Probably thought to change it after changing the controller colors. Maybe unexplained storyline or just that they didn't like the window? Then again the US version was finished first with the other versions being a week or two later. |
