Charmy		 Here's something you should try out: Collect all 14 Emeralds and transform as Charmy alone. You will be praised by the game for your suffering. (You could also just enable the Super Dash code and play a game as Charmy alone but eh.)

What actually happens:
Spoiler:When you turn Super as Charmy alone, and only Charmy alone, you'll get a whole circle of Charmys flying around the player, and they act like Super Flickies, and I don't mean four, I mean fucking eight. Oh, and a Genesis rendition of Flight of the Bumblebee will play instead of the normal Super music/Zone music, which I think is fucking genius. It also explains why it appears in the Sound Test and you haven't heard it at all in game.

Sonic Mania		 @OnslaughtIsCool: Follows the same logic as other "Game of the Year" releases -- just because it's repackaged with its DLC doesn't mean it should be counted as a separate game. It'd be incredibly redundant to have "both" if the content is identical (e.g. if, say, I split the Shantae: Half-Genie Hero sprites from the Ultimate Edition when 95% of the content is the same as the base game + all DLCs, just a waste of space to duplicate everything).

Has Bean		 According to the manual, he's a bean that became a robot. Despite not looking like a robot.

It also says he spends his time "goofing off on the sidelines," so he's not the protagonist.

He's still Carbuncle, though, but a lot of Western players know Carbuncle as Has Bean because of him.
