@theawesomeguy People with any taste whatsoever? :V Super Mario 63 was admittedly a good game regardless, but it borrowed more from Yoshi's Island and SM64. Its premake, Super Mario Sunshine 64, was more a mix of YI and SMAS SMB3. |

@Random Talking Bush I wanted to say that there was an unused Chinese message in the Data folder. It can be found in the Images folder named "CESA". I have this image pending for approval. Don't know why is it taking so long. If you can respond, thanks. |

A recolor of Strider Hiryu. Pretty much one of the earliest OC characters around in games from an official company. At least its original though unlike the Genesis version where Tiertex sprite ripped characters from the Genesis port of the first game. |

They seemed to have gone a good job in terms of the image quality of the photos/scans/artwork considering when this was made (except James Cameron is obviously younger and looks out of place compared to nearly everyone else) apart from the text that is a bit hard to read and should have done in a different font. I wonder how much is left to rip? |

@Doc von Schmeltwick Don't forget that this DK was the same Donkey Kong seen in Donkey Kong '94 for the Game Boy, which is a few months prior to Donkey Kong Country. Had this be the same Donkey Kong from Donkey Kong Country, and the same Donkey Kong on Game Boy, I can still buy the idea that Cranky was the original Donkey Kong. That being said, LET'S USE THIS FOR DISAPPOINTED KONGS! |

I'm currently trying to rip as much as I can from this game. I have not only sprites that are pending, but also sounds and textures. EDIT- I've just uploaded 3 models over to TMR, one of them is Mike Hatsune. Hopefully they'll be on the site soon. |

This is the game where "Ulona" (the bootleg Peach that's typically paired with Fortran, who in turn is the origin of the large "Grand Dad" sprite) originated, I believe? |

Looking at these again, I really wish they'd have gone with these Cheep Cheeps, since they're more on-model than the final ones. Though I suppose asking for on-model sprites in this game is having your cake and eating it, I still dislike SMW's final Cheep Cheep design, as it started an enormous string of off-model appearances that, in the ultimate case of irony, Superstar Saga of all things ended. |

@MM734 They have in English. In Japanese, it's always been intended as Metall, as the below interview outlines. The translations that call them "Mettaur" are shoddy at best and "Elf Bowling"-quality at worst. |
