Not a standard thing again, but it became felt that the main page's "Prototype" section would become too stuffy between characters and stage content, so it was easier to copy the logic that was employed for CD's prototype content and create this page. |

There actually is an unused underwater palette in this prototype as well as unused water levels. The water levels are still unused in the final game too, though the palette was changed to be closer to act 2's. |

@Datboi - The 'Hyper Sonic Ending' is in Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and Sonic gives a thumbs-up in the good ending to Sonic 3. |

Doc, it absolutely was inspired by that. The art style is even based on the only sprite we've seen from it. And MarshadowSlime, if I do more in this vein, it's going to be either Grunty's Lair, Treasure Trove Cove, or Banjo and Kazooie. |

That's a really good idea there, imagine getting 5 Golden Bananas for tougher missions! Though that is not the case, it's actually supposed to be the early HUD icon for the Golden Banana total. EDIT: A single frame of the Golden Banana Bunch appears on B. Locker's Head. |

@IkaMusumeFan06 Flowers are a source for a lot of ingredients such as spices and flavours. I've had Turkish Delight coated in rose powder and a soft drink made with dandelion before. The most well known is saffron which comes from a Crocus flower. |

@Murphmario: Technically, they weren't already 32-bit. The amount of colors a sprite could use on 32x hardware was still 15 colors iirc, but the colors themselves are a different story. I think they use multiples of 8 for RGB values, while the regular Genesis only used multiples of 32 for RGB values. (Bear in mind neither console actually used RGB, these are only how the colors appear when you check them using a color dropper tool.) |
