No thanks, I stop and frozen some projects to live in a reality. But I love looks on sprites to dream on my own videogames. |

Apr 4, 2020, 10:26 AM | HylianFox | Sheet: Nicholas Black |
The middle palette is for when Nick is disguised. I didn't really make that clear in the sheet itself. |
Apr 4, 2020, 10:23 AM | HylianFox | Sheet: Grant Collier |
That's because of the overhead perspective. If this game were a sidescroller, I'd have just ripped the right-facing sprites and let people flip it themselves to save time/space. |

@TehPuertoRicanRipper As far as I'm aware, the way the clouds are rendered in the title sequence uses a part of memory which requires all of the cloud tiles to be pieced together manually. I would have ripped the cloud texture, but I wasn't really sure how to piece it all together into the proper texture. There's probably a more efficient way of ripping the texture that I'm not aware of, so I'm open to anyone having a go at it if they can. For now though, the mobile port of CD does have the texture ripped properly. |

Well, they need to be revised (I've got it lined up to upload, but there's a few more things I want to get finished first before I submit it), but basically - Raw / Mobile Port increases in increments of 32. It's halved for Shadow (Night Mode), which increases in increments of 16, and Highlight continues the remainder of the halved increments from 128 to 240. Rendered through Genesis - tangential increments from 52 and upwards, with just as strange Shadow and Highlight, is actually how the colors appear through the television, at least with 1990s technology. With ports like those for the Mega Collection+ for the PS2, the palettes end up being different. Not seen on the sheet, but on some others that I've been able to revise to the current system, are the following: Actual - rises in increments of 36, and works the same as Raw, with Shadow and Highlight rising in increments of 18. PC Port - rises in increments of 34, and works as above, with S & H rising in increments of 17. They're there for those who prefer any of the palette schemes that aren't used on the sheet, as a sort of catch-all "Here's your option if you want it". |

Something interesting I found is that in some Nintendo Power magazines, Yoshi's Story is listed as a GBA game for release. It's listed in one of the ones I own, from 2002. |
