Oh, wow. Haven't thought about this game in forever... I'll look into it. Back when I did these, I just didn't think to do it, since I was still pretty new to sprites ripping. I think it was back when everything was sorted by series and company rather than by games. In fact, I think this might have been the first DS game I ever ripped... Anyway, I'll get to it when I can. |

@EndercreeperMugen if you want to know how Petey Piranha would work in a Mario Kart game look no further than Mario Kart: Double Dash!! as he and King Boo were unlockable in that game. It's kind of strange to me that they cut Petey in the first place, as he had a model and animations, and considering that Mario Kart Wii reused all of its character models and many other assets from Double Dash it doesn't make much sense. I am aware that Wii had some characters that Double Dash didn't, but at best those are model edits. Never completely new models. |

@Murphmario It's been so long since I've used the mega shroom in SM64DS. It probably is just a texture, and it's called a billboard I think, which is a texture that always faces you. |

@MilesTheFox22 It's used for a single frame of the near-edge balance animation (the one where sonic has wide eyes and flails his arms around). If you press the opposite direction where he's facing, then let go of that direction, he uses that frame for a split second before going back to the balance animation. The following GIF is slowed down by A LOT, to show the single frame used.  |

@teh_supar_hackr Pretty sure the Mega Mushroom in Super Mario 64 DS is like the 1-UP Mushroom in the original, in the fact that it's a texture that faces the screen at all times. |

@Carpaccio: Doesn't seem like it, I've got all of the sprites from the game dumped and I saw nothing of that sort in there, just like with the art used for the in-game cutscenes there aren't any sprite files for those leftover in the game's data. |
