Ripping sprites for the Kaneko Ripping Project. Just sayn' Anyway, ripping the sprites from this game is a nightmare. You might wanna try bizhawk screenshotting strategy and maybe use vsnes to get the sprites correct. |

I thought of it more as Contra, but very slow, and you get shoot a lot and then die super "fast". So bad it's not even really a Contra clone, more a sanity test with contra man. |

I have this C64 disc labeled "Super Mario Bros" from the previous owner of the computer, and have been meaning to load it to see that's it's just the Giana Sisters, or I would if my C64 keyboard would stop not registering the right side keyboard, minus the enter key making me only enter "ad""12" instead of 'load"*",1,2'. I have to clean my unit. |

Well, every other submission here is a ZIP file, so I'd recommend making every file included in the PNG separate so that we don't have to depend on the whole picture to us files part of it, and for consistency. |

The original trilogy are honestly just as overused as the Advanced trilogy, especially in fan games trying to appeal to classics. These ones just provide with more expressions and unique actions that would be neat if anyone actually used them properly. Honestly just wish more fangames just had a unique sprite style than either of them. Game could be doo-doo but at least it would be kind of pretty. |

Is that all you have to say after all the hard work that went into these? Empty space? Big whoop. Sheet Maker tends to leave a lot of space due to the uneven sizes of the frames. They are still usable. Honestly, some people look for every reason to complain. |

For the backgrounds, cutscenes and all misc stuff I simply use BizHawk's Graphics Debugger, that display accurately the VRAM of the game divided in all its layers, so I can export a png directly. For the levels, it was a little more complicated: first I figured out where the level tiles (16x16) are stored in the RAM, to know exactly which tile IDs the current level has; then I made a Lua script to edit a region to have all the different 1024 tiles in order, so I could take a screenshot of the 16x16 block tileset; finally i made another script that reads the whole level and use the tiles IDs to draw the whole level in a png image, tile by tile. This method seems complicated but is actually easy if you first figure out where the level is stored in the memory and if you known a little bit of Lua. This can be done with many other games. |

it's me or the last left grey part before the last rocket is smaller than in game ? there is also a transparancy square near the right rocket with a grey square under that is kinda weird. and the fire under the rocket are not the same sprites between the 3 overall sprite |

The last stamp seems to be a debug stamp, or a testing stamp because if I remember correctly, that kanji means "temporary" or something along those lines. If you've been keeping up with datamines, a bit of the Tundra DLC is already in the game, like the Fly tags and this sticker in particular. |
