Compare them to Tommy, they are bulkier than him and share the moves of the classic rangers. The unmorphed are correct as is Tommy both morphed and not. Edit: found out the morphed forms are the same for the main 5.

They look more than anything like just leftovers from an even older version of the background that worked differently.

If you move the moon away, then he will stop using the magnifying glass and walk back to the door.

The only way to see it after turning out the lights is using a trick called "double transition" (click the grey arrow to rotate the TV, then quickly click the yellow one to enter Wilhelm's house). Then you can see those sprites before he moves away.
