I'm going to list the Color Theme in order to avoid some confusions. Theme 1 - Pyoro (Day) Theme 2 - Pyoro (Dusk) Theme 3 - Pyoro (Night) Theme 4 - Pyoro 2 (Day) Theme 5 - Pyoro 2 (Sunset) Theme 6 - Pyoro 2 (Night) Theme 7 - Sepia Theme 8 - Monochrome Theme 8-15 - Monochrome (40K Neon Lights) For the Comet, it originally appears about 8 times on the GBA version from 11,000 to 19,000. In Bird & Beans however, the Comet now appears about 6 times on the DSi version from 13,000 to 19,000. It's because in the DSi version has two new objects in order to compensate the DSi Screen Size, which is the Planet on the top-left and the Floating City on the top-right. And additionally for the Comet, in Pyoro the Comet is Blue, in Pyoro 2 the Comet is Red, and when you reach to Sepia at 20,000, the Comet is now White as you expect, but when you reach to Monochrome at 30,000 (though not really possible to be seen in-game), the Comet is Blue again due that the Comet and the Fireworks shares the same Color Palettes. And for the Neon Lights, on the GBA version, it cycles 8 Colors in an order to the beat of the music in real-time. The Colors in order is Black, Yellow, Red, White, Blue, Green, Magenta, and Cyan. In Bird & Beans, it uses that same Color order like in the GBA version, but in the DSi version, instead of cycling 8 Colors to the beat of the music, the Colors just continue to speed up more and more the longer you survive in-game and also cause an interesting Color Illusion effect until the Neon Lights loops back to the same 8 Colors on the 12th loop at the start and just repeats forever. I did made an animated version of this spritesheet, but I can't submit animated spritesheets unfortunately. So if you want to see the animated version of it then click on the link below. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/cfhilrs7adjigi3wo1mtw/Bird-Beans-Pyoro-Buildings-Objects-Sprites-Animated.gif?rlkey=rntwis2khzumro670bdsb2dl3&st=771s7ldo&dl=0 |

@Yawackhary Oh yeah your right. I didn't see that the Korean uses the same words for 10K and 15K but different. And your third reason is accurate. |

@Tailx Probably also considering theory no.3 that the translators weren't paid enough to fully translate the game, but seconding your reasons as well. At the time when this game came out, the Chinese and Korean markets were considered much smaller for Nintendo so they wouldn't had as much effort compared to the other markets. Probably had the Japanese text not use hiragana then the Chinese translation (unsure whether traditional or simplified) would have easier and quicker to do due to shared kanji. Also if you look close at that 150,000 Korean bubble, it's the same as the 100,000 but a different way of presenting. Proving that both versions are unfinished. |

And if you're wondering why the Korean and Chinese (iQue) version is blank from 150,000 to 999,990. It's possibly because of two reasons: 1. The Translators don't have enough time to translate all of the words before release. 2. The Translators don't have enough space to fit some words inside the little bubble. So because of that, it's unfinished unfortunately. |
Jun 5, 2022, 10:15 AM * | Tailx | Sheet: Startup Screen |
This ESRB Rating Screen is only seen on the US version on Startup. Same for the iQue Screen but on the Chinese version. Any other regional versions except US and Chinese don't have that. |

It's probably possible to extract the scenery of the game, but I'm not sure if it is easy to extract or if they're worth it at all. |
Jun 5, 2022, 10:10 AM * | Tailx | Sheet: Frame |
The Frame on the left is used from the GBA version of Pyoro and was left unused as a Placeholder. In Bird & Beans, the Frame on the right was extended by 80 Pixels Wide and 32 Pixels Tall to fill the whole DSi Screen. |

@Snessy the duck Yeah, the iQue version of Bird & Beans uses a different bolded font style for the Chinese localization. And all other version except the iQue version uses the same font style for other localize regions. |

Jun 4, 2022, 5:35 PM | MarioMadness734 | Sheet: Honey Woman (NES-Style) |
@RaguRando Basically, Hornet Man was initially Honey Woman, as shown in the Complete Works book. Similarly, Splash Woman was initially Ocean Man. In fact, Magma Man was the only boss who didn't undergo a major change. All the other bosses underwent some sort of change. For example, Concrete Man was originally green, and was named Cement Man. And Tornado Man was originally named Weather Man, and had a completely different design that gives me slight Clown Man flashbacks. |
Jun 4, 2022, 3:58 PM | Yawackhary | Game: San Francisco Rush: Extreme Racing (Prototype) |
Very noble effort to use voxels for the Game Boy and runs at a playable frame rate but the game in this state is best described as a mess. The voxels make this game bad looking, very easy to go off track and get stuck in the scenery. Game Boy mode is just plain broken meaning that had the game been finished, it would have been a GBC only game (that didn't kick in until around 1999-2000, guessing due to no copyright info that the game would have been in development around 1998-1999). It says something when Midway of all companies decided to cancel this port and they aren't known for quality control especially when it comes out outsourced work. |
Jun 4, 2022, 3:55 PM | Yawackhary | Sheet: Beginner 1 |
Weirdly thanks to the broken Game Boy mode, was able to check most of the sprites outside of one (6th row, 4th across) otherwise it would have been far worse. In case anyone is curious, this is how one of the sprites is arranged from the tiles. |
