At least the changes in the Chinese version of this one aren't as bad as the earliest Chinese version of Terraria Mobile.

From what i've heard online, china has more strict laws on certain areas which may overlap with some of the yo-kai designs such as Jinta,the bones doods, or anycharacter with red patches that could look like blood. as for some that received the minor alterations like Hotpot, blizzaria shadowside and insomni who knows

very late but yes, the keystones and character icons for the chinese version did update based on changes made there, such as Jinta and Hotpot

Is it possible to rip the sprites used in the credits? They have some different movements from the ones in the menu.

I believe the designs for certain Yo-kai were changed in Hong Kong and Mainland China. Did they update the art for them?

The english names are sourced from Animax's official subtitles for the Shadowside anime, with the Forever Friends names coming from the manga.

This game, Y School Heroes, and a port of the original Yo-kai Watch game.
And I wouldn't blame you for not knowing about this, as these games aren't available in English.

Seems like Shadowside version sprites don't exist (Minus Jibanyan and Komasan).

Still, nice to see sprites of the human characters.
