I don't think people realise how busy the staff here get and some times don't get much spare time, whether to themselves or in general. As always another great update. One surprise was @sanityormadness N64 rips especially F1 World Grand Prix 2. When I saw that, I was very pleased. @MotheringQueen1 From the way things are going, there's probably enough for a couple of months of those (also would mean that nearly every game would have at least 1 rip including JPN games).* I think once that dies down, well... there probably will be less from that section in terms of updates. Sure there will be someone ripping or updating some Mario/Pokémon stuff, maybe from golf games but it's going to be whenever someone wants to rip some Game Boy sprites and that might not pop up every week. A few of these games may see some extra sprites in the future, I'm planning to rip from a few racing games at some point. *- There are a few title screens that you might not see getting ripped on here such as the Rocket Games ones as they fail on most emulators due to the mapper. I had to hack the headers on those just so that they can run. So anyone interested in Karate Joe or Space Invasion may be waiting quite a long time for those even though I do believe that there is a non-Rocket Games ROM of Space Invasion floating around... Well there's always title screens on other consoles. If those run out, then off to loading screens (Spectrum/Amstrad/C64). I remember when tSR had THE iDOLM@STER being in updates every week until that died off... |
