I have just reached the S folders this morning. Overall I can give an actual estimate of my progress at 67% through all the folders I have. I also have story cards and backdrops though, but they're nowhere near as complex as character portraits. With many of the 50 folders worth of content I have left to make into sprite sheets, I estimate I'll be done entirely with all I can do by the end of this week.

@EvanGamesGoodman Ahhhhhh yes I think I DO have that character but she isn't complete as she wasn't in a banner to my knowledge. I can look further into it, but I don't know if I will until I complete the current set of sprites I need to make sheets of. I'm hoping to be through Reimu's sprites tonight which would leave me more than halfway through my current set. I'll probably add a list of known missing rips when I write up the tutorial post. Also to answer the question of how to rip, I have a comment here with a very crude explanation for how to do it before I make a dedicated thread https://www.vg-resource.com/thread-40624.html

@FireAnt The actual screensaver plays a .swf file, which is where these were ripped from. The installer for the screensaver was archived and the link can be found on the SpongeBob wiki. The .swf file can be found on System32 after that.

@EvanGamesGoodman It's no problem. I probably have most of those. I'm not sure about Flandre Scarlet (Vampire Hunting the Hunter) and I can't guarantee all the Hifuu/B3 characters as I'm missing assets for a lot due to me skipping over them (I'm pretty sure I have Reimu B3 though, as it downloads most that are relevant to the story). As I stated earlier I have ripped what I can from the game, and am compiling them into sprite sheets in alphabetical order by first name (I'm doing this to keep track and avoid bias), however I can only do 10-20 a day with some exceptions. So depending on my speed and how much of my day I want to spend doing it, could be a few days to a few weeks and I really can't estimate that well. Sorry I can't answer that anymore to the point, but I will give updates if I for some reason stop. My current sprite sheet completion is A(lice) through M(arisa), Miyoi should likely be in today's sprites (Which will be uploaded tomorrow morning PST). *edit* I don't seem to have a Miyoi, and neither does the official Lost Word Gamepress wiki?

@EvanGamesGoodman The process for ripping sprites from Lost Word is downright terrifying. I can't go deeply into it here, but I documented it in a forum post on here. It took me almost a week to do, as there are over 5000 cache folders that have to be scanned through for assets, and they're an absolute mess with audio, PNGs, and code strewn about. The biggest issue with Lost Word is it only downloads files on demand. If you miss a banner for a character, their files won't be downloaded. When you get a character however, their costumes are downloaded by default since they're displayed on the character screen. I'm compiling these into sprite sheets in alphabetical order but I already know I'm missing a few. If you'd like I can make a forum thread specifically documenting how to easily (well as easy as I can give) rip sprites from this game.
