it seems right
Atari started the trend, initially with Quiz Show and then with other games they made. It seems as though Namco picked it up due to licensing Atari's games for the Japanese market. Then it probably spread to companies like Nintendo, Sega and Konami due to using Namco hardware (often Galaxian) as a base for their games.
why does it seem like most arcade games use this font or some similar variation
