@MightyKombat Probably down to that the game was rushed out of the door and when they did the updates they forgot about this (unless there's an unknown later revision out there, then again it might have got cancelled when Ultimate started development). Midway had a nasty habit of doing that so it's not that weird.
For those wondering, for some reason Kung Lao didn't get an Attract Mode bio in the arcade version which is why he's not part of the Bio screen sprites. He had to wait til the console versions. Weird I know
