v I wouldn't say replaced by Amidar, we don't know why it was removed. Though one can only guess it was because of the rotated joystick... until Zaxxon was introduced on the 48 in 1 and threw that excuse out the window. Also, the 39 in 1 has it's icon, but no actual ROMs inside meaning it can't be played even if you modify these things. Either was planned for later 48 in 1s and was cut or they couldn't get it to work properly.

So Q*Bert was intended on these multicades until it got replaced by Amidar?

That's the native VGA resolution, or at least how it is on MAME. The CGA mode looks a lot more normal, but it's harder to work with since controls aren't quite working yet for that mode on MAME.

i wonder why they look so stretched

Just gonna put a quick note here: This only extends to the sprites in the 39 in 1 as that's the only one that can actually be ripped from right now.
