@DecaTilde - It might be something to do with the fact that Tetris comes from Russia.

Christ on a tricycle why couldn't they give the blocks at least one other color of shading?
Sooooooo many people seem to legitimately think that Я is a Russian counterpart to R. It's not. No more than M is an English counterpart to W. It's infuriating.
