@eerie10 Given that the features of them animate as 2D textures, I'd say probably not. But I have no confirmation on that.

Yeah, and Bowletta's eyes and mouth after Cackletta's soul possesses Bowser shortly are also 3D models to be honest.

A lot of the battle backgrounds (and overworld maps) use the alpha channel for something, but I don't know what.

I just split it from the actual background itself and included them on the side

Alright, guess the only sprites missing now are the sprites of the Starkiss with shades named Spangle.

That and the Koopa Cruiser if it's a sprite

@Fawfulthegreat64 Ah, I suppose it would be easier for them to be models since there's less collision/sprite programming among other things to worry about.

The maps are models, but their textures can be extracted with Ohana3DS. Problem is, I have a hard time finding where they all are. There's battle maps and overworld maps but some of them crash Ohana3DS while others open normally. There's several folders with these files.

They could actually still be models @Bertrobot. If you look closely you'll notice the stuff can come off as fuzzy looking, especially background objects that are animated, so it's potentially sprites working as textures. Could be wrong but, we'll see.

Anyone know if the overworld and battle backgrounds of this game will be ripable? I assume so since they look to be sprites unlike the overworld and battle backgrounds of DT and PJ.
