	The Wii was supposed to get an update to get DVD's working natively, but the copyright cost Nintendo too much, so the DVD idea was abandoned. with homebrew most Wii's can play DVD's .

	What's the DVD icon for? The Wii can't play DVDs without modding.

	If youre wondering what the gamecube cartridge is, It was like a Icon when you inserted a gamecube disc on a very early wii menu.

	I've never seen that icon ether, and the TCRF page does'int mention the GCN memory card icon. The TCRF page does mention reflection sprites for the discs which on the page says that that needs to be added to the page.

	When is the GC memnory card used? It's not a disc and its not in the data management screen either...

	@Elinery2005 and @Robowil: Well, Nintendo Dropped DVD playback capability to not only avoid license fees, but also, thwart potential pirates.
