bowser, luigi, peach and toad sheets are missing their "standing" sprite from the "thank you" screen seen after the credits.
I wouldn't consider Mode 7 as proper 3D, it's literally just a background layer that's transformed in-game.

Shouldn't the maps be textures? Because in-game, they are projected in 3D
Just curious, but has the full font used for the end credits (the larger font used for cup selections) been uploaded yet?
Does every course have its own unique background, or is there just one background per theme? If there's only one per theme, they should probably all be on their own sheet, instead of copied multiple times across every track's sheet.
This game looks pretty much complete. The only thing that's missing is the racers getting flattened, except Bowser.

Just looked through the rips again and this time, Yoshi from the JP version is missing his victory animation. Find something new everytime, I guess.
Edit 2: Also makes me wonder if both Yoshis use the same flattening sprites or if it's different for each of them.

@damsonic: They're on the track sheets. The ones that are labeled "No sprites".
where are the backgrounds?

So apparently there was a leak of a prototype of this game that had a new track that didn't make it to the finals plus some beta versions of pre existing tracks. Hopefully I can find a way to rip the track maps here.
Still need items in use, coins, and the course select screens. Just doing my duty to point out what needs what... to an annoying degree.
