I know the reason why the graphics may look "downgraded" compared to the first 2 Super Bomberman games, considering the first 2 Super Bomberman game developments were outsourced to Produce that looked somewhat 3D-esque graphics (in a good way), though with the third game, I honestly don't mind it despite the spritework seems roughly drawn that doesn't match the artwork sometimes though you can see the PCE Bomberman games era influence (especially on '94 as the planets are parallel, though the fourth planet was desert-themed rather than horror-themed).
The series with graphics that downgrade with each game (except SBR).
Here's my current ripping plan. First I will rip just the base backgrounds, and when I'm done ripping those, I'll rip the animated parts(the bridge, the blocks with the explosion animation, the doors, etc).
