for these year (twenty-two years ago) the hack was a new thing, according to videos. is the first SMK hack to put new custom tracks, (not counting Impala Battles from 2002, because it only put in battle mode)
in fact a MKSC hack made by BlueYoshi, recreates this hack, except that Kirby is not there,
imagine what these tracks recreated in 3D would look like!! (64, Double Dash, DS, Wii, 7, 8/8 Deluxe),
in fact I'm interested in many custom tracks of SMK recreate them in 3D (like this hack)

Maybe Nintendo was inspired by this hack (for the Shortcuts) to making the "T variants" (Trick) of the tracks in Mario Kart Tour?

I've known this hack for a bit now, and somehow I'm only now learning that the tracks here are just souped up versions of the vanilla tracks. Not that there's anything wrong with that, I just didn't know.
