@Cascade Computer Services Just checked the ROM, a few things are pre-scaled but most are scaled in game (which is actually impressive even if the game runs at something like 12fps) but... This is one of those Mega Drive games that's completely different compared to the usual 8x8 blocks. Strangely enough they are all racing games. Outlander, the Road Riot 4WD prototype and the rest of the series store the sprites in the same way.

You can have a look at TileGGD and set the width skip size to either 1 or 2 using left and right keys to adjust. The bike, rider, police bike, car, trees, roadside objects, some effects and shadows are all uncompressed.

@Paraemon I'm pretty sure the tree sprites are drawn and scaled via code, meaning that they are probably more difficult to rip.

I can take a look into it. It's been a while since I touched this game due to various circumstances since my last comment.

@Paraemon : It would be awesome if you can rip some backgrounds objects ;) .

Race Tracks, stage objects, those will come in time. Backgrounds are actually the easiest to rip from this game.
