i don't know why but the ghosts with the original arcade sprite style but with arms attached to them feels wrong
Quite a lot of Japanese games have their menus and options in English. They know what the words mean, its an arcade collection after all and they might have had plans to release Namco Museum registered trademark outside of Japan like the rest of the series.
Only some licensed games, games targeted for a younger audience, games that require a lot of text like RPGs/Visual Novels or know that the game won't be released outside of Japan are mostly in Japanese.

It's not too uncommon for Japanese games to have menus and stuff in English.
Shouldn't these be in Japanese?
