@RealMargaretThatcher Probably to fill out the roster, as they'd already used up most of the Godzilla Kaiju that had been made up to this point, plus many of Toho's back catalogue of monsters. I would've personally included Godman, Greenman and Zone Fighter Kaiju, such as Tsunojirasu or Destro-King, instead of the original ones. That being said, Barugaron seems kinda cool imo.
