It's average at best. Bad enough it came after Mania, which is gonna be a tough act to follow. On a positive note. Sonic Team might be learning something from Mania for the next game, given that Shun Nakamura was dumbfounded by its success.
Was it like, PS3/360 Unleashed-level unenjoyable?

So uh, aside from the baffling customization icons, any word on the actual quality of this game? Is it good, or has it proven that only fans can do it right anymore?
