Because in Germany, "Stock" is male and "Etage" is female.

@Viscera I don't disagree. But apparently there's a patch that is meant to be superior to the localisation release.

@Παρατηρητής While I wouldn't expect any better, it sure has some flawed grammar. But I suppose it's an attempt, they might just as well have gone with Eins/Zwei/Drei Stock.

Those unfamiliar with the VN, or German in general, Zweite Stock is Second Floor, and Dritte Stock is Third Floor. Within the context of the story's events, there's no Erste Stock, as it's rendered unfit for use.
