why does the japanese version have more frames?

@artinthermz: It's mainly because the submission consists of multiple 640x480 images (some of which with not-as-obvious semi-transparency), in this case it made sense to just include those all as separate PNGs in a ZIP as opposed to how most of the sprite sheets on this page are.
