I don’t get it. I’ve always perceived that face as Spamton basically haunting you until you put him inside the robot and make him a [REAL BOY]. As for the idiot in chapter three, I like to think that Tenna originally wanted to have himself as the final boss but struggled so much when coding the game that he said screw it and had a glitchy placeholder sprite with a black and orange color palette to make Eram and that Mike was meant as an enemy because the friend laugh file sounds like an audience laughing and is the leftover glitchy sprite of Mike. This may be so far from the actual canon but it’s what I’ve always thought it was.
