Weirder still is that it's only on the base sprite. The normal map doesn't display the texture. It doesn't even have a specular.
Twister my beloved
I find it interesting that they gave the thing a proper texture. After all, you'd only see it at a quarter of it's actual size in-game, so I can't imagine most people (if anyone) would notice it.
The normal maps on this one kinda looks like Kirby without his mouth.
