So it's basically a primarily Crossover game in the same vein of Super Robot wars, but it's cross genre like Super heroine Chronicles.

NB4 Doereamon and Godzilla.

It's a rhythm game series that was originally a Space Invaders spin-off (seriously), but the SI elements have been de-emphasized to the point of being barely there anymore. I don't think that Wai Wai Party even has any Space Invaders-related songs, despite featuring several from other Taito games (lots of Darius stuff, though).

And yeah, Wai Wai Party is pretty crossover-heavy with songs and characters from Touhou, Vocaloid, various VTubers and anime. Even without (but especially with) DLCs.
