Iirc it was 2 reasons: Capcom JPN forced Capcom USA to canceled cause they refused to publish game made outside of Japan. And also a decline in raisin sales in the late 1980s and early 1990s

The fact that this was fully finished, but never released, it makes me wonder why did they stop all of the sudden.
