I've never seen Super Macho Man jab ever, I honestly thought that was unused?

It happens with Super Macho Man as well. I wonder if they were trying to make it an "inbetween" frame, but in practice it ended up being almost the same? There aren't any rips of their Super Punch-Out!! arcade sprites yet to compare to.
I've never understood Soda Popinski's weird "thumb extension" whenever he jabs. I used to think I was just seeing things, but lo and behold, it's here. Possible hint that he's drunk and not using a clenched fist to punch? That's likely a stretch.
