I didn't know they had an AD for a short animated Sonic movie..

Yeah I think it is. It doesn't look like the menu screen I saw when I watched videos of the Christian Whitehead version. The "Night of the Werehog" picture kinda helps date it around 2007-2009, which is about 4-6 years before the Christian Whitehead version came around and replaced the original port.
