@Yawackhary 7UP is indeed owned by Pepsi-Co. I guess the removal of the branding was because Cool Spot only existed in American while the res of the world had Fido Dido as the mascot.

@Murnjendoof To make it more confusing, in the UK where this version (along with most other versions) of Cool Spot was developed Dr. Pepper and Sprite are distributed by the same company who happens to be Coca-Cola. 7Up is considered a Pepsi drink well... Britvic if we have to be picky.

Probably why Virgin just decided to use their logo instead of the 7Up logo due to all the market based drinks and distributors outside of the US. In all honesty surprised that the game was released outside of the US unlike the previous games and became a big hit, it's probably a headache now regarding rights ownership.

@BizarreMind nope, Sprite is a different drink. Spot is the mascot for 7-Up, which is owned by Dr. Pepper. Sprite is owned by Coca-Cola.
