What Sheet Is The Insta Shield On?
Nov 17, 2019, 8:30 PM
@Jacob: That's what I meant. :P
Nov 17, 2019, 7:19 PM
@Void-the-Bat actually, Tails is using his S2 sprites in this.

Unless that's what you mean. In that case I'm stupid.
Nov 17, 2019, 6:24 PM
@Benjamin: I believe Tails's sprites are the same aside from palette color and assignment differences. Sonic's are a different story though.
Nov 17, 2019, 2:49 PM
I think it'd be more convienent to upload all of Sonic's beta sprites. Sure, they're basically Sonic 2 Sonic, but the palletes and extra sprites make it more unique...but that's just me.

Now we wait for someone to rip the prototype sprites of Sonic and my boi Miles "Tails" Prower!
Nov 10, 2019, 1:30 AM
@pacmastermeow Things would get way too crowded, this has already been discussed on the Sonic & Knuckles page.
Oct 23, 2019, 3:36 PM
Just have a S3K section
Sep 6, 2019, 9:51 PM
Fun fact: There are so many oddities surrounding the general objects and Super Tails' cycling palettes, it's almost a cruel joke.
Aug 12, 2019, 6:00 PM
Same with a playable Tails. He isn't playable at all in the Sonic & Knuckles portion and would be just as misleading.
Apr 25, 2019, 10:12 PM
Yeah, no. The page would become to cluttered with all the content currently exists and has yet to be ripped. And as water palettes exist only in the Sonic 3 half of S3K, it would be misleading to include them in with the Sonic & Knuckles portion.

Why don’t you put Sonic 3 with Sonic & Knuckles in a big Sonic 3 & Knuckles section?
Apr 14, 2019, 4:47 PM
@[Username] (The Observer) I think this is a change for the better, this way people can actually see what they're downloading, as opposed to going in blind when downloading ZIP files.
Apr 12, 2019, 12:19 AM
Regarding the partial uploading of all backgrounds considering that Sonic & Knuckles has had a full dump, there are still some tricky stage backgrounds in Sonic 3. Launch Base Act 2 will come in two or three different versions because the current sheet is untenable in its current form.

@Awesomeman That's on the Badniks page, as it's a Badnik called Spiker. Not to be confused with the other Spiker from Hill Top Zone in StH2 16-bit.

@The Observer Where's the bouncy spikes from marble garden?
Jul 28, 2018, 8:51 PM
@ViralVillager_YT They're coming, but I won't guarantee when.
Jul 17, 2018, 3:00 PM
@ViralVillager_YT No idea

Does anyone know where to find the sprites for the wall of fire in the cutscene where Angel Island gets lit on fire?
Jun 12, 2018, 9:55 PM
And who's the city's lord and savior? The Sonic 3 Sonic, of course! (Unless you're playing Sonic Mania or Sonic 3 Complete with S1/S2 sprites.)
Jun 9, 2018, 6:10 AM
But it's not a city. It's an ancient automated location.
Jun 8, 2018, 1:24 PM
I was always on the "Hydro" side, because of water. And it's a water city. So.
Jun 8, 2018, 4:27 AM
I thought "Hydrawcity" since, aside from that just looking like how that would be pronounced (English rules are stupid), it didn't look at all like a city, ruined or otherwise, and "Hydrawcity" seems to give some sort of water-based-gadget implication, and the place was full of those.
Jun 7, 2018, 9:52 PM
I've always called it Hydro City, even when I was younger (as a kid). Maybe because the level has water and majority of Sonic levels had two words. Hydro = water. City = city. It's only when going online that heard the other pronunciation and thought the spelling was Hydrocity or HydroCity because everyone else was using it.

Then again its Sonic Team's fault for putting the two words together on the title cards/level select, Ice Cap is the same but people don't argue with that as much.
Jun 7, 2018, 9:41 PM
I feel like the High-draw-city pronunciation has a more smooth feel to the name and better fits the calm and slower paced act 1 and the Hydro City pronunciation feels sharper and better fits the speedy act 2. Though High-draw-city just sounds kinda stupid in my opinion so I'm pretty sure Sonic Team wanted it to be pronounced Hydro City.
