There's a neat program (nemsrch) which extracts all the nemesis compressed sprites outside of the ROM in an uncompressed format, hopefully that helps.

It... really doesn't help. I don't understand the way Nemesis compression works, otherwise I would've been able to finish the prototype Hydrocity Badniks sheet by now.

As for the Payne sprites, once I've finished something else.

Well actually, the whole file uses different sprites :)
Oh and if this helps, the GHZ ballhog's graphics is located at $0002A386 within the prototype (nemesis compressed)

I think you forgot that prototype enemy unless you can't get the sprites, that ok!

The Ball Hog for Scrap Brain Zone is using the wrong palette as there's supposed to be two greens for the snout

That's great and all, but Spikes and both Newtrons are still given the wrong names, and tbh I wouldn't know how to perfectly fix that myself as I'm unsure of the font, and it could mess up the layout. Also, if the GHZ Ballhog gets an "unused" identifier, Splatz probably should as well.

@Beanluv Sometimes if the game is paused when a roller is on-screen (particularly after it hits one of the spinning lights) its tiles will be replaced with random blue Caterkiller tiles.

I'm also unclear why the green Newtron is misidentified as Leon, the chameleon badnik from Sonic Adventure and Sonic Advance. Or why Spikes is just called "Spike."

It also uses incorrect palletes for the Orbinauts' "changing" faces. It's purple for Unidus. and Grey for Uni-Uni, as can be see when using debug for a split second.
And of course, there's always Roller's glitchy Caterkiller graphic-covered pose.
