This is not intended behavior and is meant to auto-close when zooming as well. We're working on resolving this with our provider but in the meantime, refreshing often fixes it. On one of the blank save screens, the text borders are the ones from the first generation.
Edit: I just realised the whole save screen is taken from Red/Blue.
2nd Edit: I fixed the issue myself after 5 months of radio silence.
