That "Robot" enemy is actually an aphid from the movie Antz.
ANTZ never hit the big time, I suppose. So using obscure things to rip off, like how the Cat in the Hat game aped Klonoa's gameplay.
Well, by sheer coincidence, I've finally found out where that "Robot" enemy at the top came from. It's an enemy (the first one you encounter, in fact) from Antz for GBC. So I guess it's actually a grub or something?
A Troopa, a Metall, a Crabmeat, and a Pikachu walk into a bar....
