Well it IS a mahjong game. Apparently those are the outcomes of how your character would die if you messed up, each involving the apocalypse in some form.
A satanic illustrstion,a nuclear explosion,a graphically explicit skull,and a tombstone as a Game Over are the last things i would expect from a card game,not even the word Grim is enough to describe.
